Third Shoot & Evaluation
Overall I am pleased with how the final images came out in this shoot, as i wasn't that confident about how the shoot would come out as the shoot wasn't in the studio. This was because my model cancelled so I wasn't able to complete my shoot in the studio. I then had to compromise and had to think outside the box as to how i would get this shoot done in time for the deadline. I came up with the idea to do the pictures at home use my house as the studio in a pitch black room with no light but the UV light however you can see from this first images on the contact sheets that this didnt work. This was because the light ended up lighting up the walls and the door behind the model. I then decided to put a black suite case against the door so that hopefully the light wouldn't light up the suite case and would block the light reflecting of the door. This then made me really unmotivated and i decided to stop for the night to give me time to improvise with an other idea.
I then had the inspiration to using an extension lead from my open garage to go out when its completely dark at night and take the images. This proved successful because the only thing being lit up with the UV light was the model because there was nothing around to be lit up because it was complete darkness.
Overall I am pleased with how I went about this brief really going out of my way to find a solution with my model canceling which in the end after a few experiments i found the right way which I could go about the brief. Some of my images were blurry however because I am now shooting everything in raw i was able to change the exposure brightness without creating the image to look over edited. So if however my images were a little dark I was able to change the exposure to get the correct exposure easily.
